Reindeer are in short supply this year.  Sometimes you just have to make do with what you have.

This is looking down main street in Highwood.  It may be the only street...the light sure was pretty!  There are two silver prairie skyscrapers (grain elevators) at the end of the street.

If you look closely in this photo, there are two groups of deer.  I had just shot a photo of the road here when five deer ran in front of me...and the camera batteries died.  Then I saw these as I changed batteries.  I left this photo large for wallpaper if anyone would like it.

In case you don't believe me, here is a close up of the deer.  The black blotches on theleft are one group, and the closer ones on the right are readily identifiable.  Sorry it is fuzzy; you can't enlarge much with digital already at max resolution!
