After docking on the West shore of Kootenay Lake, we drove north to Kaslo, BC, a former logging town on the shore of the lake.  It is a neat town, with a lake steamer that used to run the lake, now a museum.

We stayed with Uncle Charlie and Aunt Betty.  I remember spending a couple of weeks during summer vacations with them, and cousins Kendall and Joe.  Now we are all grown, but we had a nice dinner, good talk and a fantastic breakfast of Swedish Pancakes, which no one can make like Betty!
